What happens when five WWE superstars head back into the classroom to find out if they're smarter than 5th graders?

The wrestling superstars of the WWE are used to pressure. They perform without a net in front of thousands of fans four times a week in sold-out arenas. They're used to thinking and acting on their feet, not to mention getting body slammed, smacked with steel chairs, thrown into metal ramps and generally getting pummeled for a living.

So, why is the Miz, the current United States champion, all sweaty and jittery sitting in the green room of a game show?

"When you're asked a question you haven't heard since you were a little kid, and you don't know the answer, and there are millions of people watching, it's a little nerve-wracking," the champ says, laughing. "It's elementary school! I should know every one of these questions! But it's tough."

He is, of course, referring to "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" the Jeff Foxworthy-hosted show that asks grown adults to return to elementary school and answer questions they haven't heard in 20 or 30 years. Subjects range from math to geography to history. And just to make sure the players feel more stupid, three little kid whizzes are on hand to help them answer questions. Cheating is OK in this school.

But why is the Miz here, you ask? Shouldn't he be somewhere in America delivering a Skull Crushing Finale to John Cena? Well, starting Nov. 2, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" is all wrestling, all the time, for a full week in syndication (check your local listings). Five of the WWE's biggest superstars (the Miz, MVP, Intercontinental champion John Morrison, the Big Show, and women's champion Michelle McCool) will all drop their tights, put on grown-up clothes and head back to school to win money for their favorite charities (three played for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Big Show played for the USO, and MVP played for the National Guard Youth Foundation.)

Today, we're here for the taping that will watch the Miz, MVP and the Big Show exercise their brains rather than their brawn. The Miz was up first and the man took the word "energy" to a new level. He was slapping high-fives with the kids, the audience and even Foxworthy. He sweated out every question like his championship depended on it and genuinely seemed to be having a blast. After his performance, he was still pumped up, like he had just gotten out of the ring.

"I am always high energy," he says. "I was having an amazing time and Jeff Foxworthy is a great host. Funny, funny guy. You can't beat a guy with a mustache. The little kids are so cute and fun and smart. They are like geniuses ... well, in my case anyway."

For those who aren't familiar with the superstar, the Miz is one of the company's biggest heels (wrestling-speak for bad guy).
