Katie Rees, aka Miss Creant: Rees landed the Miss Nevada USA
2007 title, and was poised to compete in the Miss USA 2007 pageant, but was
dethroned that December. Why? A "friend" posted some semi-nude and semi-naughty
photos of her on MySpace. Rees was stripped of her title by the Miss Universe
Organization. She laid low after that (except for a brief stint on "Dr. Phil,"
in an episode called "Caught in the Act"), but then, in February 2008, Rees was
arrested in Las Vegas after (allegedly) assaulting a police officer during a
traffic stop. The report states that Rees was pulled over for a traffic
violation around 3 a.m., and when officers attempted to arrest her, "Rees began to elbow and kick at the police." We had heard
there could be some sharp elbows in the pageant world, but at least the battles
there don't usually involve pepper spray and handcuffs ...
