Like an Ouroboros (a serpent that eats its own tail), Richard Heene orchestrates a massive media hoax as a means of attracting attention to his family (their two appearances on "Wife Swap" weren't enough, apparently). And guess what? It works. But the real victim here is poor Falcon, merely a pawn in his father's twisted real-time pitch meeting, who couldn't keep down his breakfast during his family's interview with Meredith Vieira on "Today." And can you blame him? The whole thing kind of makes us sick, too.
