Each week the characters develop and grow with Paul as the catalyst. I am allowed to anticipate and enter the secret worlds of each character. I truly hope that you don't leave the audience with no sense of finality by not continuing the series. ie, Sex and the City had an incredible finality, but yet left the door open. Six Feet Under's finality definitely left the viewer feeling complete. I can only hope you don't leave the series ending at Episode 43. We need to know what happens to Paul and his relationship with his wife; is Paul and Laura done? Would like to see how Alex and Kate work things out, etc. Was this review helpful? Any therapist who has sex with a patient, or a former patient within two years after the termination of treatment, will deservedly lose his or her license in any State in this country and possibly face criminal charges and a malpractice action as well. Patients falling in love with their therapist is so common and expected that it has a name: "transference." No circumstances justify a therapist having sex with a patient no matter how much he may think he loves her. Love may be bigger than rules and ethics, but it is clearly not bigger than the law. Last nights episode with Alex's Dad was pretty heart wrenching. There is so much that could be "followed up" in future series. I could write the perfect evening soap from this show. My husband and I came up with all kinds of great ideas and how it could continue on. Best of luck, RanandAndy2 Was this review helpful? Probably hard to record this series. A quasi-Freudian approach I would guess. Should be watched by counselors, psychologists, and psychiatrists. May have been much impromptu responding. Reminded me of "Psychodrama" technique in Psychology. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-4 of 4 Per Page |
