Date ![]() Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful What a tear jerker. One of the most dramatic yet. A series I try not to miss. When House goes to his study to play with his ball.........an idea, why not have him watch an episode of Black Adder ! He was superb in that as well. The only cast member I cannot get used to is the girl fom the Black Donnellys where she's running a lunch counter and now she's Dr. Was this review helpful? I haven't looked forward to a new episode of a program so much since......hmm, THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB when I was five. You gotta love him just because of the way 'real' docs squirm and wince when you bring up his name when they try the 'I am God' attitude. Was this review helpful? This look at a brilliant diagnostician not only shows the medical aspect but also the personal aspect of Gregory House. Just when things seem horrible and as though a patient is near death House comes in and saves the day. Not to mention delivers a hilarious "Houseism" that you will try to incorporate into your vocabulary. Lets face it House is the show that one gets work done early for and sits in front of tv with a snack and a soda just to sit their and admire the sheer brilliants and smug attitude of one of the most memorable characters ever. Hugh is an amazing actor that breathes life and comedy into the character House. From the hilarious sarcasm to intense drama House keeps you hooked and looking for more. I hope it never ends... I watched all the way up to season 3, and half of season four. In season four, I started watching it only when I had the interest in the specific episode. I cannot forgive the producers for changing the entire cast of the show, and then in David Shore's interview, when he crushed the hearts of all the people who had hope for Allison Cameron and Robert Chase returning to the team, I stopped watching immediately. This show has turned into Grey's Anatomy for me, which I've also stopped watching. As soon as the original cast is able to have some more screentime, and isn't shoved to the side like they hadn't been the key to the show for three years, then I'll start watching again. But NO, a narcotics-addicted clinician is no joke. Do you want your loved one treated by a chemically-clouded lying junkie? There's a heroin-addicted ICU-RN here in Philly... and no one cares... because she's white, pretty and charming... just like TV. But the fact is: a lying junkie timebomb has no business in critical care. Wake me up when teaching hospitals protect patient safety first... and not their own! No random drug testing, no checks of previous firings, no saliva-test confirmation of urine samples, no licensure-supensions for refusing to test if ever challenged... In the meantime, what about the patients? It is NEGLECT to trust their care in the hands of untrustworthy junkies... IT IS OUTRAGEOUS THAT SIMPLE SAFEGUARDS LIKE THE ABOVE ARE NOT ENFORCED. Addicts are not bad people... But LiARS are. In the case of hopeless narcotics junkies, there is no difference. We have congressional hearings over steroids in baseball... Yet no one cares about rampant drug addictions that affect public safety every day?? I love House... but i cannot accept hospitals that protect their own, and not patients first. The acceptance of drug addictions in clinical settings IS a national disgrace. Was this review helpful? You are about to loose us the drug thing is outragous. the limp and sore leg needs repair. keep his bad behavior but get back to a good scientific story line. The sexual inyouendo is now the biggest part of the show . Have you been to hospital lately there are very few boobs hangging out. Get back to some of your great stories. Was this review helpful?
