Elisabeth Hasselbeck (Filarski)
Elisabeth
Filarksi, as she was known then, finished fourth on the Australian Outback
season of "Survivor." At the time, she was a footwear designer, but
shortly after the show's conclusion she began her career in broadcasting,
hosting a pair of shows on the Style Network before replacing Lisa Ling as the youngest co-host on "The View." She went on
to marry her college sweetheart, New York Giants' quarterback Tim Hasselbeck and
has continued to generate publicity for herself based on her conservative
politics, particularly on the issues of abortion and creationism. |
