I don't mean to be mean, but do any of you have a brain? It appears w/ money comes drama and more drama. Caroline - as the "matriarch" you lose. Re-invent yourself with a little more character and be a woman of strength. Teresa, it's sad what you are not instilling in your precious daughters. It's not cute or funny the way you drag your daughter around for glamor shots all the while you claim your not a "stage mom". You're joking, right? I feel for Jacqueline who wants to have a third child. Hang in there, relax and just enjoy your husband. He seems to really care. Lucky you. I get the feeling Dianne (sp?) was nominated underdog for story-line drama. If that's so, make it more compelling. She was smokin' and made all of you look pathetic at the dancing classes. It was so obvious you were all totally jealous. Come on Caroline, I think your precious baby boy can handle a woman by now. And to portray otherwise only diminishes your "matriarch" status in your family. Sorry folks. You should talk to the real housewives of New York. They have you beat by a landslide. Ooops! Almost forgot Dina. I take potty breaks when you're on. Was this review helpful? Next time you travel or get out of your little boxes..look around you...do some good for children you see that are starving and need clothes..
Have a good life... Was this review helpful? I loved all of "Housewives" series with the exception of the New Jersey series. These women cause housewives throughout the Garden State to cringe in embarassment at the mere thought that they are in some way representing our state and women, in general. I actually turned off the premiere episode within minutes of its airing and will not watch it. Let it be known, that if you want to observe trashy dated North Jersey women with 80's high hair who are clearly in need of a good vocal coach, all you need to do is hop on the GSP and head north. Don't waste a good hour of your life watching this series. BRAVO you have done an inservice to all of the "real" housewives throughout New Jersey! Whoever your casting agent is they should be fired immediately! Was this review helpful? This season they could have shown successful females in their own right, not just the ones that marry into money. This show is anything but real, it is blatantly obvious that these women “and their husbands” are putting on an act for the cameras. How many times did we find ourselves saying, “Ok we get it we know you are from NJ you can stop talking like that and stop acting like that. I went to college in NJ, and believe me when I tell you these women are putting on an act for the camera, women from NJ do not act or talk like this. We should all come to expect this from these women, because come on; they watched the other three versions of housewives before them. Bravo could have got it right if they had a real housewives Boston, Austin, or Washington DC. Those places are well known for successful women; for god’s sake did they forget about southern NJ. I have to say though this is better then housewives Atl. All we got from Atl was, do not worry about being successful in life as long as there are professional athletes that will marry you, and being a mistress is not as bad as you think; you can get a TV show out of it. Besides embarrassing females that are married and do pull their weight in their marriages and setting African American females back 50 years, how is this any different then any of those VH1 reality freak shows.
