I hope that the network renews the series. It has been a long time since I found a series that interested me enough to watch every week and even bought season one for my collection. The last series that caught my attention this much was the X-Files. I agree with another reviewer that stated, "Another excellent series they will probably terminate because it is to excellent to have in the vast wasteland of TV, it will join firefly and the original Star Trek which they tried to end a number of times." I am so happy that so many talented people are working on this show. All the people in the production, not just the actors. The production people make the actors pull off a truly amazing opportunity to show movie staiure on tv.
Are they excutives or whoever is in charge listening?

Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful A Great AllegoryPosted: 4/11/2009A review of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles by BLINDLIGHT9 I suspect those "Reviewers" on this site who have panned this show just don't understand Allegory, Metaphor and analogies. They are probably having the same problem with KINGS now on NBC. These bloggers are the confused folk who watch LOST it being a reflection of them selves. It is sort of like modern art where one doesn't have to understand it but can make up anything they want it to be. Sorry re the last boo on LOST but that show really frosts me.
I think one of the problems with the series in the association with TERMINATOR which conjures up all of the GOVERNATOR movies which really have very little to do with the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I hope we continue to see lots more of Sarah and John...and and their mirror images like John Henry and Cameron. Was this review helpful? Cameron is eye candy and the special effects are believable. I like the idea that she might be a little bad, maybe in love with John? That could be a side story line in the background.
An idea I have had from Terminator 2 was to bring back a car or truck that was made from the steel in the plant made of part flex steel that could be evil self repairing and on the hunt.
Hope the show makes it I look forward to the show each week and already have the DVDs from last season. Was this review helpful? Many more viewers will watch this show and pay more attention when the elections are over and the economy picks up. As entertaining as many shows are, Americans are just a little pre-occupied with not losing their savings, investments, retirement accounts and homes.
If you cancel this program and the movie is released with Christian Bales, people will scramble for anything "Terminator". You won't have missed the boat; you'll have sank it. It's one of the few on tv that we watch as a family. Sometimes it's really hard to find something that teenagers want to do with the (gag) "parental unit" but this is one of them. Often, we start talking about the show and end up talking about other things as well. Besides that, the cast is excellent! Sarah Connor seems confused all the time.
John Connor is terminally stupid, he would dead already if they did not have to keep
the series going.
Summer Glau is not being used to her full potential, looks like they are trying to extend her character to actually have feelings.AI's don't have to be robotic.
She really is the only thing worth watching on this show and that's been poorly handled.
