Pining when they ended, speculating and anticipating on their continued plot lines until they began again. But when I became a 'real' adult, my enthusiasm for what I watched on television had been reduced to, "that's ok" and "whatever", that is until 'Supernatural' began. Now I can't wait for Thursday nights! I diligently make sure the kids are in bed and asleep by no later than 8:45 so that I can pour my glass of cola and pop my bag of popcorn, turn off the lights, snuggle into the couch next to my husband, where we begin to excitedly discuss what happened last week and what may happen next, and then the music starts and the show begins. SHHHHHHH!!!!! Munch-munch!!! Try it!!! You might end up addicted too!!! Was this review helpful? I was hooked after the pilot episode. The acting and chemistry amongst the shows leads is very strong. The production values of the show are quite good, but the writing is what separates this from the average show. The storyline is complex, but not convoluted. It's witty and cynical when it needs to be. Jensen and Jared own their characters and they have fun with them. In a day and age where reality TV is everywhere, I thank God..or maybe the devil...for Thursday nights @ 9:00. Great show. Netflix the first 3 seasons and you'll be hooked too. it purs nicely. Once you start watching there is no turning back.

Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful supernaturalPosted: 6/17/2008A review of Supernatural by partyhard-rock-on4ever 18 they picked the most perfect hottest hunks in america to play the winchester boys. they fill out the bad ass hunters, the cutest caring brothers, and the funniest, prank playing, sarcastic guys on television. the show couldnt get any better. it has the greatest actors, the best and worst situations you could ever get into. they slay demons, fight for eachother, and inocents survivals. these guys drive around in their "impala" saving strangers lives on a dialy bases like its nothing. it is the best show on televion! Sign In 2 out of 2 users found this helpful A Truely Unique ShowPosted: 5/14/2008A review of Supernatural by moderately-obsessed Supernatural is, by far, my favorite TV show that is currently airing or that ever has aired. There are awesome special effects in every episode. The monsters are frightening, realistic, and the sheer amount of research that has gone into creating these creatures is both astounding and refreshing. Also, the very cute and very talented actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles can’t help but give the show a bit of a boost. All these things would make the show better than most on TV, and yet there’s still more.
On the surface, Supernatural is a horror show. But once you watch a few episodes, it becomes clear that the show isn’t about scary monsters. It’s about the relationship between the two brothers. Everything comes back to that relationship, making this show about supernatural events seem just as rooted, if not more rooted, in reality as any TV show out there. From the little, seemingly meaningless gestures throughout each episode to the very emotional scenes that have my crying my eyes out, both the writers and the actors capture that brotherly relationship so perfectly. You forget that Jensen and Jared aren’t really brothers.
The characters, the relationships, the story lines, and the casting all set Supernatural apart from any other show on television. I think that Supernatural deserves more credit and more publicity than the network seems willing to give it. Was this review helpful? However, there is one change they should fear.... Us changing to other stations because we are looking for a fix to replace that great feeling we all get from SUPERNATURAL on Thursdays. I continue to be amazed that a TV network can show such disrespect for one of its own shows. Hardly a mention of upcoming episodes or a reminder of the night and time it airs. I have singlehandedly brought twenty new viewers in this year just by really talking up the show to people who didn't even know of its existence. My only POSITIVE joys right now are the promise of a FOURTH season and having their new magazine to enjoy. A literary endeavor almost as well-done and loved as Mr Kripke's story line, awesome young leading men and the fandom itself. COME ON, CW, BRING OUR BOYS BACK. Give us some reruns at least.These tales are soooo entertaining they deserve to be seen MORE than once!!!! Was this review helpful? I have very few Television shows that I enjoy watching and I am waiting for Supernatural to return !! I watch shows that let me escape for a little while from the reality of my life. I don't care for reality shows and could really care less which movie star is doing drugs , or how they live.
Give me shows like Supernatural, Ghost Whisperer, Moon Light, Jericho
