The characters are such a hoot to watch! Sam, Todd, Andrea, Dina, Frank, and Sam's parents.......all have me laughing and smiling with each and every episode and I feel as if I care what happens to them, which is quite rare for me with a TV show. Every episode has me wanting to see what develops this time between Todd and Sam. Since I just discovered the show, I went out and bought both seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. In just one short week I've seen all of season 1 and half of season 2. And that is with me forcing myself not to gobble them all up right away!
Now I understand the series has been canceled. I wish that would change and that the show would be saved, that the network (ABC) would see the light, or that another network would see that this show is heads and shoulders above so much of the junk currently on TV. I have had a accident myself that impacted my life in every way. Now I am a better person and I love my life and I would not even think of changing a single thing about my lfe. I feel that Christina puts a positive spin on life's previously thought to be unfortunate experences and ghsnge them into learning experences. Life is what you make of it. Was this review helpful? It's so much better than those reality programs. I think the networks need to pay attention to us baby boomers who stay home more and watch TV!!!!!!!!
I love Christina Applegate and the rest of the crew. Her clothes every week were a treat too!! Pretty soom there won't be anything to watch on TV! Then I guess we'll just get rid of another expense. This show is charming and funny and it does not require your children to leave the room to watch. In my opinion this show is one of the few shows left that draws viewers based on the story line and comedic characters instead of how much vulgarity producers can add to a show.
I hope that it comes back because.....hello we have to see Todd and Sam get married...at least that is my personal request on the story line!! I mean who doesn't want that? Was this review helpful?
