Almost everyone who has seen it loves it. Of all my guy friends who've seen it, every one of them says it is their favorite TV show of all time. If you haven't seen Firefly, start watching now. JOSH DID THE WORLD A FAVOR BY BRINGING THE "VERSE" TO US. THIS IS THE ONLY TV SHOW THAT I CAN WATCH OVER AND OVER AND STILL FIND SOMETHING NEW EVERYTIME. THOSE CORPORATE "FEDS" NEED TO GET THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR A** AND MAKE A SEASON TWO...THREE...FOUR...WELL YOU GET THE PICTURE!!

Firefly should be the template for the way in which television is written. Joss Wheadon gave us characters who can rise above their naked character flaws to achieve a common purpose. The show is rich with this type of shared human experience. Firefly has a soul.
The cancellation of this program evidences a lack of respect for the intelligence of viewers by the pinhead suits who canned it. This decision always comes down to one particular pinhead (you know who you are). Shame on you! Here's hoping the show comes back in some form.

I rarely watched network TV at the time and I missed out with this series. I believe the Fox network poorly advertised this program and based on lack of network support it was short run. It has fantastic depth with the quality of characters and their interaction it allowed you to be enveloped into the story line quickly. Awesome series. Was this review helpful? WARNING: Episodes were originally shown out of sequence, and msn tv has them in the same order as the air date, which will make the series not make sense. hulu.com has them in the correct order.
Great characters, great stories, just an all around fun series. My wife watched 'Serenity' the move and hated it, but after watching a few episodes, she's hooked and can't wait to watch the movie again because she's so into the characters.
