Great show! One of the very best. I watch all the old re-runs, purchase tapes, and DVDs. A truly great lost and one beautiful lady. She will be missed, but we will love you always.

Debuting in late winter/early spring of 1976 as a tv movie- Charlie's Angels was an instanteous cultural phenomena. Sabrina (Kate Jackson), Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) & Jill (known then as Farrah Fawcett-Majors) were 3 very beautiful undercover private investigators. First assisted by Charlie-their never seen, only heard from boss, Bosley- the loveable older bachelor type and Woodville- a boring & stiff unneeded counterpart. With the tv movie grabbing unheard of ratings- the tv series went into production. The series debuted September 22, 1976 and thankfully lost Woodville and made the girls more independent. The voice of Charlie and the comfortable presence of Bosely remained. The tv series grabbed even higher ratings and made instant stars out of all 3 angels. In particular one Miss Farrah. Very few tv stars have made the cultural impact that she did and has sustained over the decades. But after one season, Farrah wanted out. Enter Cheryl Ladd as Jill's younger sister Kris. Just as blonde. Just as beautiful. Only Kris was more believable. She made mistakes, was a bit clumsy and silly. Audiences embraced Cheryl & Kris without question. Behind the scenes Kate Jackson was growing creatively bored and didn't bond as tightly with Cheryl has she had with Farrah. After 3 seasons, Kate abruptly left. Enter the classy and stylish Shelley Hack. Shelley was a model turned actress and was cast without much acting background. Her looks and role as spokesmodel for "Charlie" perfume helped nab her the role of Tiffany Welles. Daughter of a military friend of Charlie Townsend. Tiffany was class and sophistication personified. This cast change was not met with the open arms as with Cheryl Ladd. Critics and audiences cited Shelley's then limited acting abilities for the sinking ratings. While that may have been a small part of the problem, the real problem was the poor scripts. For the first 9 episodes of Shelley's season, her character was not given anything to do. The characte...
