Anthony's show reminds me of how lucky I am to have indulged in most every food one can think of. Of course he takes it to the next level. Not sure if I could go for the raw camel liver and such, especially when you see flies on the food in the videos. But, Anthony always manages to find a cold beer to wash it all down. Keep up the good work and I'll keep watching. One of the best shows on TV. Not only is it a cooking/tasting show, but it's almost like watching National Geographic at the same time as Anthony combines interesting facts about the location he's visiting. Bravo! Whether it's food, culture, or Tony himself, I am always sweetly seduced and intimately connected to watching Tony's exploration of the world's most exciting travel destinations. Different from other travel shows, Tony is trully able to interact and become a local. Not because he tries harder to go off the beaten path or because he has more knowledge than other travel hosts, but because Tony is just that cool. Bravo, Tony! Please don't pack your bags and move far, far away yet. Give us a few more years of your deliciously sexy self. Was this review helpful? I pray the babies stay asleep just to be able to watch at 1:00 eastern time. Again I love him! He's cool, rude blends in well with every culture. He's REAL if the food taste excellent he applauds the cook! If it tastes like crap he exercise good diplomacy and tact, as to not to offend his host. I wish I could cook something unique just to have him stop by. Sincerely Biggest Fan! Was this review helpful? Love the sarcasm and eye-rolling, and that Anthony refuses to do the "touristy" crap. Instead, he immerses himself in the food and the people of the country he is visiting. I would love to see him visit my husband's home town of Yerevan, Armenia - he would have a blast there! Was this review helpful? Thank your for showing us the part of the world we seldom see and for being honest about other baseless and shallow T.V. cooking shows.
If ever in Fort Worth chime in and I will take you on a sand bass fishing trip and treat you to a down to earth Texas fish fry after the fishing.
Keep up the great work and thank you for being yourself.
FYI best episode: Vietnam... especially the sobering dinner with the man left handicap by U.S. ordnance. You handled that brilliantly well and nothing more could have been asked of you as a human being and as a citizen of the U.S. Was this review helpful? I watch the back-to-back episodes every chance I get. Usually it's on Sundays or the middle of the night during the week. Anthony has the greatest personality and when he takes us to places here in the US or abroad, it feels like I am actually there with him. (or so I fantisize)! Keep it coming! Was this review helpful? Anthony goes to places you might not see as a usual tourist which makes you want to actually go to these places. Everything doesn't look scripted including the screw ups. My new fav on the DVR. He's the best!! Was this review helpful? Void of facade, politics, and PC, Anthony visits the real world for a quest into living to the fullest; For most, dining discoveries are apart of living - Dining with indigenous people of the dishes prepared, is a large percentage of life's experiences. Anthony presents what he discovers; good or bad - If you haven't viewed his program, you're missing out. Was this review helpful? Sign In |
