The title is "Americas got talent ", but really it isn't about the talent this year. It was purely about the most pathetic sob story and minimal talent, because every act in the top ten was far more talented than the sad little man that won. Clearly, if anyone watched especially in the finale performance Kevin Skinner was terrible, but it was very easy to feel sorry for him for being so heavily outclassed by the other finalists. The show kept pushing how he is an unemployed chicken catcher from a very poor background. I will probably quit watching this show after this because I can't respect a show that is this far off base. If the majority of the great talent is in singing, than they should be put through, it is best talent not variety show makeup, if that is what this is to be than do a weekly talent variety show and stop the crap on breaking hearts on very talented people for all the wrong reasons. There is absolutely no good reason that the young guitar player, the young singer, the post office group, etc did not move forward, but some very poor talent that you may consider circus acts did. This show can no longer claim to be anything other than a half bake summer variety show. Your host is too good for this type of show, might as well bring back Jerry Springer! I will watch one more episode to see what happens, but I think this is off my viewing list and dvr. Was this review helpful?
