Not fair actually found a show my whole family would sit through with out making a sound and its gone?! Happens every time dont know why I even bother watching TV anymore they just end everything in the middle of a cliff hanger anyway.

This was really good television! Interesting premise, very imaginative, and you wanted to know more back story about the characters. All of the loyal fans deserve, at the very least, one last season to give us some closure. I personally would rather see convicts returning instead of Kardashians and Housewives. This program deserves another chance!

Very sorry this show was cancelled. It was one of the better not reality TV shows on the air. Lets start norrowing and getting rid of so much reality tv like snooki crap (who cares), glass houses REALLY?, come on... Who rates these anyway? I think rating should be on-line for everyone to rate. Get rid of nielsen ratings. No one talks to them when they call anyway... Bring this show back!!!!!

and cancel this piece of work? just like Sarah Conner Chronicles. You take a good show, put it up against some unwinnable opponent, blame the show then cancel it? Start them on there own build a audience then go to war, you dont see trainees into war

I found Alcatraz to be quite interesting. From the beginning to the end as the show unravels it's secrets. Yes, it is far fetched, but not any more far fetched than movies such as: Men in Black, Ironman, Jurrasic Park or the machine on the program The Finder. Yes, it could be hard to follow and I did find myself rewinding from time to time to figure out what i had missed (which usually I had missed part of it)so to keep up with the action in it. I felt the actors played their parts wonderfully. I hope this show gets another season to really win over the audiences.

I love this show! I have to record it due to the time slot on Monday night, but faithfully watch it when I get home. Hate that it will be canceled, yet some of the stupid shows are not. Wish there was something that could be done to keep it on or maybe get another network to pick it up.

Great show, great cast, great writing, etc. Bad slot in time, yes. Have to TIVO to watch but hey maybe another channel will pick it up so I can watch it there. You canceled two of my favorites Alcatraz and Finder, thanks a lot. We get the cartoons, but the real shows for drama are on CBS. Guess I can hang out over there for a bit longer. Bye Fox, have fun with the toons and football when Fall gets here.

WHY??? This is a great show. I seriously doubt that just a handful of Nielson households speak for the obvious fanbase this show has garnered. I think this show is fantastic, even though I myself need to place it on my DVR so i can watch it after work(i am at work when it airs). This is a crying shame that the producers are more concerned about Nielson families not clicking the Alcatraz button on thier lousy serveys than paying attention to the fans. LISTEN TO THE FANS, NOT A LAME SURVEY SYSTEM THAT IS OUTDATED!!

It is really too bad that this series is being cancelled. I thought the writing on the program was superb and if nothing else, I wish they could have come up with a fitting ending to the series. I'm really disturbed that the network is leaving the viewers hanging, not knowing why the prisoners on Alcatraz disappeared and why they were returnng in the state of mind they were in.

So sad that Alcatraz is being cancelled this season. Finally a show that had some interest comparable to 'Lost'. And to see some of the trashy mindless shows that were renewed, it proves that the general public doesn't want a show that makes them think.
