bad shot selection

I just watched the show where Kevin Van Dam went deer hunting in Kansas, and I have to comment on his poor shot selection at the second deer that he missed.
Did he not see that smaller buck behind the deer that he shot?
When he originally took the shot, i thought that he had hit both of them, but then he got lucky and hit the leg of the feeder.
Maybe he should stick to bass fishing.

Recently you aired a show about turkey hunting with Brenda Valentine on a ranch in Mississippi where the home of Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest was moved to and restored. Apparently the owner is a high admirer of the general. Ms Valentine said on the show that General was " a hero of hers". Of course there was no mention of the fact that Forrest founded the !@# in Pulaski Tennessee shortly after the war and was undoubtedly responsible for the intimidation and murder of hundreds if not thousands of American citizens over the years. I hold a History Degree from Vanderbilt University. I am an Army veteran and currently employed as a U.S. Federal Agent. Needless to say I am an avid hunter and fisherman. I tell people that we should not speak ill of those that fought in the Confereracy. They were fighting for what they believed even though history has judged those beliefs truthfully, and harshly, over the years. I was VERY disturbed to see your program hold up General Forrest on such a high pedestal considering his founding of the !@# and the violence and despair that arose from that...violence and hate that still pollutes our great country today through lies, fear, and illogical bigotry. In short, I will no longer be watching your program (which I used to record). I will be writing all my buddies and hunt club members urging them not to watch or buy your products. That endorsement was a mistake that seemed to glorify the life and deeds of a deeply flawed and hate filled man!
