Johnny Smith, 'The Dead Zone'

After surviving a car accident and waking up six years later from a coma, Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall) saw visions of past and future events from touching items or people. Doctors ascribed his new abilities to a "dead zone" in his brain ... moretriggered by the accident. Johnny eventually learned he had a brain tumor and died while attempting to assassinate a political candidate who would have set off an apocalyptic future if elected.
