Once a shallow and self-centered cheerleader at Sunnydale High School, Cordelia Chase (Charisma Carpenter) grew up to be quite the vampire-slaying sidekick alongside Buffy and her friends. She eventually moved to Los Angeles as an aspiring actress and ... moreworked with Angel (Buffy's vampire ex-lover) at his detective agency. Cordelia obtained the power to see people in distress after kissing her half-demon co-worker, and was then compelled to help people after experiencing a vision of worldwide pain.
