Host Steve Jones is no Ryan Seacrest. That is, don't expect the Welsh TV presenter and former model to be as assertive and as attention-seeking as Simon's old "Idol" sparring partner. Instead, look for Jones to be cut from the same cloth as his fellow Brit Cat Deeley ... more, host of "So You Think You Can Dance" -- a friendly face who will seldom make his presence prominent or consequential in the TV proceedings. Unlike Seacrest, Jones -- at least initially -- will keep viewers' focus on the judges and the performers.
