The petite blonde Wettig won three acting Emmys for "thirtysomething," and,
though she continued to work steadily (including a memorable turn as an evil
politician in "Prison Break"), had
trouble regaining that high profile in the ensuing years. Happily, ... more a small role
in ABC's breakout family drama "Brothers & Sisters"
has grown, so that Wettig's flinty, unsympathetic Holly is much more nuanced
than the narrow ex-mistress role she was originally given. She's even reunited
on the series with her real-life husband, Ken Olin, her former
"thirtysomething" co-star and one of the "Brothers & Sisters" producers.
