"30 Rock" scored big
with Liz's new beau James Marsden, creepy detective Steve Buscemi and self-proclaimed
idiot Denise Richards. In honor of leap
year, however, the cynical comedy outdid itself, creating a new holiday, along
with the Jim Carrey holiday ... more classic we never
knew existed. The weird and wonderful Feb. 23 episode was peppered with clips
from "Leap Dave Williams," Carrey and Andie MacDowell's ("Groundhog Day") faux redemption tale about a regular
Joe who wakes up with the gills, mustache and responsibilities of mythical
gift-giver Leap Day Williams, a la "The Santa Clause." USA apparently runs a 24-hour
marathon, but we couldn't find it.
