A mysterious girl named Tonya shows up at the Pritchett-Dunphys' front door.
She claims to be Mitchell's long-lost daughter (played by Elle Fanning). The family is shocked
to discover that Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) had a
heterosexual fling in high school ... more and Tonya is the result. Tonya moves in, but
she is morose and weird. She mumbles to herself, never bathes and digs holes in
the backyard with a spade. This behavior creeps everybody out, except for Dylan
(Reid Ewing), who thinks her cryptic
strangeness is hot. Dylan and Tonya form a band called Pit.
