And what could be more of a rebellious act than marrying David Schwimmer, who played her boyfriend Michael. The two moved in together while still barely out of high school, then got married and moved to Alaska shortly thereafter. These crazy kids would turn out OK, but their courtship caused no shortage of grief for Karen's uptight war-vet dad, Jack.
