The "Rock Doc" Ray Barnett made no secret of his musical ambitions. He moonlighted with a band and paid the price during his brutal ER shifts. His love-hate chemistry with Neela, who eventually had to move in with him so she could afford to pay her... more bills, was a centerpiece to Ray's story. When he moved home following a gruesome truck accident that left him without legs, his cool, somewhat unpredictable character has resurfaced this season when he visited and sends text messages to Neela. Truth echoes fiction, as West currently is the lead singer of the long-lived LA punk band, The Germs. He is still keeping up his acting chops, starring in a remake of the silent film "The Lodger," as well as in upcoming films "Echelon Conspiracy," "El Dorado" and "The Presence."
