Laura Innes - Dr. Kerry Weaver

Starting in Season 2, there was a new boss in the ER. Her name: Kerry Weaver. Not one for chitchat, playful banter, or smiling, Dr. Weave's character broke ground as a woman with a disability who, later, came out of the closet and shared a child... more with her partner. After leaving the show in 2007, 12 seasons later, Innes wins the prize for longest tenure on the set. She also stepped out from under the lights to direct 12 episodes of "ER," and most recently directed three episodes of ABC's hit drama "Brothers and Sisters."
