Dr. Doug Ross met and again lost his estranged father. Dr. Susan Lewis became the guardian of her niece -- and then lost... more custody -- while Hathaway looked for love with Ron Eldard. Guest stars included Ron Rifkin, William H. Macy, CCH Pounder, Laura Innes, Bradley Whitford and Lucy Liu. Who can forget "Hell & High Water," in which Clooney's Doug Ross rescues a boy from a flooded culvert while very, very wet? With one rain machine, an entire nation became "Team Doug."
