Having been nominated for an Outstanding Series Emmy in both of its first two seasons, "Damages" is a riveting legal thriller for a number of reasons. Chief among them is the show's amazing stable of actors, which features Glenn Close at the center, and also ... moreboasts talent like William Hurt, Ted Danson, Marcia Gay Harden and Lily Tomlin. The show is well-written, too, of course, juggling multiple story lines and telling them non-linearly, which all adds up to one of the best legal dramas to ever hit the small screen.
