Relying on his normal formula of mixing drama with the
supernatural and alternate realities, Abrams came back strong as
co-creator, writer and producer of "Fringe." (He even composed the theme music.)
Plotlines include doppelgangers, parallel universes
and alternate timelines, but
this hasn't deterred viewers from keeping up and watching. As the second half of
its fourth season returns soon, "Fringe" has us anxiously awaiting the fate of
the FBI's Fringe Division, which includes agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) and consultant Peter
Bishop (Joshua Jackson).
