Jon Heder hit the bull's-eye in his debut feature role as the title character of "Napoleon Dynamite," a shout-out to nerds, geeks and freaks everywhere. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he sought to ... morecapitalize on his fame despite his refusal to accept roles involving drinking, drugs, sex or profanity (owing to his Mormon upbringing). This policy led to some rather large gaps in his resume, although he scored big at the box office with Will Ferrell in the competitive-ice-skating comedy "Blades of Glory" in 1997. He also lent his voice to "Surf's Up," an animated family comedy about surfing penguins.
