Paris Hilton may have only spent 23 days in the pokey, but
she seems to be making up for plenty of lost time. On Thursday, the
debt-to-society-paying starlet did her best "Baywatch" imitation by hitting the Malibu shore with Adrian Grenier. Paris, who was uncharacteristically demure
in a cutout-free, one-piece swimsuit and boy shorts, cavorted in the surf
with the be-stubbled "Entourage" star as an army of shutterbugs chronicled their
every splash. That night, they posed together at the premiere of Leonardo DiCaprio's environmental flick "The 11th Hour," and a few days later, the actor popped up at
Paris' pad with some of his pals (per TMZ). So, is Grenier following in the
well-trod footsteps of dangerously droopy rocker Cisco Adler, some random Australian surfer dude and NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne, all of whom have reportedly
swapped spit with a post-lockup Paris? Not so much. "They are just friends,"
Hilton's rep insists to "Entertainment Tonight." "There's nothing between [them]."
Turns out Grenier, who is reportedly dating Sports Illustrated model Melinda
Keller, is working on a documentary about the symbiotic relationship between
stars and the paparazzi, which means his hang-time with Paris may have been
strictly educational, a first for her.
Is Kate Hudson's budding romance with Dax Shepard on fast-forward? The New York Post claims the
pair, who were first spotted together last month and recently enjoyed a Canadian getaway with the monogamy-wary actress' family, are cohabitating in Los
Angeles. "Dax is basically living at her house right now," a spy alleges to the
paper. This supposedly has some members of Hudson's inner circle "a little
annoyed," although ex-husband Chris Robinson isn't one of them. "Chris is thrilled because
now he can have [their 3-year-old son] Ryder whenever he wants," maintains the
snitch. "Kate gets a little more distracted when new men come into her life."
Hudson's spokesman, however, blasts the report, telling the paper dismissively,
"None of what you're speculating here is accurate."
It's been a long time since "Swingers," but the beautiful babies still seem to think Vince Vaughn is totally money. According to the New York
Daily News, the baggy-eyed, barrel-chested funnyman recently hit Los
Angeles hot spot Crimson, where he "prowled the room" before heading out
with a "small group of blondes."
Ashlee Simpson is apparently determined to be only one who
smudges boyfriend Pete Wentz's eyeliner. The New York Post says the refurbished
warbler blocked female fans from getting too close to the Fall Out Boy bassist during a recent night out in
Chicago. A bystander tells the paper Ashlee became "whiny and dragged him away"
when his admirers wanted to take pictures with him.
"My relationship is everything to me." That's Clive Owen, talking to Playboy about Sarah-Jane Fenton, his
camera-shy wife of a dozen years (they have two daughters). The easy-on-the-eyes
actor also declares, in what is either a supreme act of confidence or hubris
(your call), that his co-stars have always been and will always be off-limits
(his leading ladies have included Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Monica Bellucci). "I so value what I've got at home with my
wife and kids that I've never [bleeped] with that," he avows. "For me, that's
what it's about ... I've had some great times with actresses, but that's in a
movie. It's a fun thing to do, but it's not love. So I never have a problem with
that." According to Owen, his big-screen success "would mean nothing if I were
floating around and didn't have a solid family behind me. Sarah-Jane is an
absolute diamond."
Was Sienna Miller reading bodice-ripping romance novels during
her recent beach getaway to Saint-Tropez, where she hung out
with good friend Diddy? Not only does the London Sun quote the starlet as
saying she will love repeat ex Jude Law "forever," but it also claims she rhapsodized, "Our
stolen moments were bliss." The actor, for his part, is denying a spate of
tabloid reports claiming he's wooing his "Holiday" co-star Cameron Diaz.
