Someone give Neil Patrick Harris a calmative. People reports Britney Spears will guest star on another episode of "How I Met Your Mother."

"The show is ecstatic and so is Britney," an insider tells the mag. "She had
so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a
mutual decision to work together more."
But Us Weekly cautions that the deal has yet to be hammered out.
"No script has been written and until that is done, Britney will not be
making a commitment," says a mole. "The offer is there but no decisions have
been made at the moment."
You'll recall that after Brit's audience-boosting appearance on the March 24
episode, Harris spoke out against "stunt
casting," explaining, "I think we have a great show going and I hope it's not
screwed up by the desire for 700,000 more viewers."
But after what we're guessing was a nudge from some bottom line-watching
studio suits, the actor quickly clarified his remarks, insisting he wasn't
taking aim at Britney and enthusing, "[She] did a great job on the show. In
fact, we are all hoping that she returns rather soon to reprise her role."
The issues-dealing starlet, who remains under the strict supervision of her
dad, Jamie, earned respectable reviews as a bubble-headed receptionist who's hot
and bothered by Ted (Josh Radnor).
Brit's appearance resulted in a ratings bump of about a million viewers and
earned the CBS show its highest numbers ever in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
