This time last year, a newly engaged Eva Longoria revealed her
relationship motto with Tony Parker: "Breaking up is not an option."
Now, five months after saying "I do" in a lavish Parisian ceremony, the "Desperate Housewives" star and
the San Antonio Spurs player are facing a serious test of the "or worse" part of
their vows as they denounce allegations he strayed.
The brouhaha began Wednesday when a French model named Alexandra Paressant
contended to photo agency X17 that she'd become intimately acquainted with
Parker in the months after his wedding, a claim the couple has been quick to
deny.
"These allegations are completely, 100 percent false and untrue," Longoria's
rep insists to Us. "All high-profile couples fall victim to these sorts of
things in the course of their relationships."
Parker, 25, for now at least, has opted not to address the specific charges,
instead defending his domestic bliss by declaring, "I love my wife. She's the
best thing in my life, and I have never been happier."

As for Longoria, 32, who has often gushed of her French-raised spouse's finer
qualities, she's unequivocal in her support: "Tony has been nothing short of the
perfect husband."
Paressant, whose interview with X17 is illustrated with a multitude of
skin-tastic photos, maintains she met the NBA-er (and sometime rapper) at his --
eesh -- wedding, purportedly trading calls and text messages with him until a
rendezvous on Sept. 29 at the Park Hyatt hotel in Paris, the same place Tony and
Eva stayed during their nuptials.
According to the gum-flapping and seemingly fame-hankering model, she jetted
to San Antonio a month later for another meet-up with Parker, whom she quotes as
sharing his innermost feelings on everything from marriage ("Everybody has to
get married at a point, but [for him] it is still time to enjoy life") to kids
("Certainly not for now").
But Paressant's track record when it comes to blabbing about sports stars
isn't exactly stellar. She was previously linked to Brazilian soccer player
Ronaldinho, who threatened legal action against her after she divulged details
about their supposed affair to a British tabloid.
"I am very sad to see all these stories about me in the media," he said last
year. "[It's] nothing but false information about my personal life and about an
assumed relationship ..."
Longoria is facing her own tabloid troubles this week courtesy of Star, which
features her on the front of the mag posing with longtime pal Mario Lopez beneath the headline, "More Than Just
Friends?"
The actress, who once vowed never to marry again after her union to actor Tyler Christopher went belly-up, has joked that she
and Tony will stay together forever "because we're too lazy to look for someone
else."
And in the new issue of Elle UK, she says their union always comes first:
"We'll have our fights, our ups and downs, but no matter what, we want to be
together and be married."
Eva has never shied away from sharing the ins and outs of their romance, a
strategy that has occasionally backfired.
Case in point: Last year, she was quoted as telling Allure she was the
"experienced one" and "the teacher, especially about love. He's always telling
me he's never met anyone who loves the way I do -- wholly and freely and
unconditionally."
It didn't take long for Longoria to backpedal, awkwardly proclaiming to "Extra," "When the lights are out,
he's the teacher. I'm the student."
