If three magazines all report on the same hookup, does it make it true?
People, Life & Style and In Touch all just happened to figure out at the
same time that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard appeared to be making moon-eyes at one
another during a Las Vegas shindig on Nov. 10. People reports the newly single
"Veronica Mars" star-turned-"Heroes" baddie and the funnyman
ex of Kate Hudson were "spotted snuggling"; In Touch says
they were "dancing and then left together"; and a spy snitches to Life &
Style, "There was chemistry." As for Shepard's paparazzi-captured summer
smoochiness with Hudson, a source tells People, "They were trying to make it
work, but it's done." By the by, Kate recently denied a report that she was tangling tongues with Heath Ledger.
Orlando Bloom seems to be enjoying the many perks
that come from wooing a lingerie model. Australia's Daily Telegraph reports the
actor eyeballed rumored new squeeze Miranda Kerr from backstage as she
worked the runway at the Victoria's Secret fashion show last week. They later
rendezvoused at the afterparty, where they were spied looking "very
couple-esque," says E! Online's Ted Casablanca.
Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal attend the "Rendition" photo
call during the Rome Film Festival on Oct. 21. |
The Gyllenspoon PDA fest continues unabated. After letting down their guard
in recent weeks with a lovey-dovey trip to wine country, a romantic stroll around Rome and some Halloween handsiness, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal were acting oh-so-demonstrative
during a "long romantic dinner" Thursday night at a Los Angeles eatery, reports
the New York Post. An eyewitness tells the paper the formerly furtive squeezes
"kept leaning over the food at their table and kissing and holding hands."
Has Renée Zellweger snapped up Uma Thurman's handsome hand-me-downs? The lithe Oscar
winner was reportedly spotted out to dinner Friday night in New York with
hotelier Andre Balazs, who split from Uma in March after three years of
temperamental togetherness. No word on whether the meet-up was business or
pleasure, although in a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Zellweger
downplayed the need for a man in her life. "I'm so busy catching up with the
people I miss when I'm working that I'm not busy missing someone," she
explained. "That's it. I'm not sad about it, not at all."
Even Pam Anderson is surprised her impulsive, bad omen-plagued October marriage to Rick Salomon hasn't yet crashed and burned. "We're
still together!" the veteran bombshell enthuses to "Extra." Her hubby, meanwhile,
appears to be tracking their wedded bliss with a dedication usually reserved for
prisoners, chiming in, "47 days now!" Ever the pragmatist, Pam is marking as
many anniversaries as she can in as short a time frame as possible. "We're going
month to month," she reveals. As for the gash Salomon was sporting on his nose
when they stepped out together this weekend, she overshared, "Actually I sliced
it ... it was sexual."
Is Common playing a game of mixed doubles with Serena Williams? So says the New York Post, which
claims the rapper and the tennis champ looked "very close" during a recent night
out at Manhattan hot spot Tenjune. "They were very friendly, arm-in-arm. She
looked great," a snitch tells the paper. "All night they were sitting together.
They were keeping it cool, but you could tell Common likes himself some Serena.
I asked a friend of his and was told they are dating."
