Ashley Olsen's New Year's resolution apparently didn't
include sharing saliva with a guy her own age. Us Weekly says the pocket-size
twin mogul, 21, has once again fallen for the elusive charms of Jared Leto, 36, whom she briefly hooked up with back in
2005. Seems the former squeezes were touching digits and locking lips while
hanging out at the Art of Elysium shindig on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles. "They
looked like a couple and they were making out," a bystander tells the mag. But
an Ashley confidante insists she hasn't reunited with the self-serious
actor-cum-guyliner-ringed 30 Seconds to Mars front man, whose exes include Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson and Lindsay Lohan. "They aren't back together," says the
insider. "They're friends." Back in November, Olsen was characterized as a nice, smart lady by Lance Armstrong, who adamantly denied
reports he'd enjoyed a lap-set smooch session from Mary-Kate's poutier half.
He's just that into you: Justin and Drew are seen together
on Jan. 15. |
Drew Barrymore and Justin Long's PDA Across America tour continued
this week with touchy-feely pit stops in New Orleans and Las Vegas. The hands-on
honeys, who have been spotted sucking face from New York to Los Angeles and
points in between, smiled and kissed as shutterbugs snapped them waiting to wing
out of the Big Easy on Tuesday. The following day, says People, Drew and Justin
turned up in Sin City to celebrate his brother's birthday. Not surprisingly,
"They were very affectionate," says a spy. "They are totally happy," an insider
bubbles to Us Weekly. "They aren't talking marriage yet. She just has fun with
him, and they laugh at everything. That's always been the way to Drew's heart."
The twice-married actress fell for the "I'm a Mac" pitchman while filming
"He's Just Not That Into You" last summer.
"He was the first big heartbreak." That's Kate Bosworth, talking to the February issue of Vogue about
her three-plus years of inconstant coupledom with Orlando Bloom. "Orlando and I met when we were kids. 'Blue Crush' hadn't come out. 'Lord of the Rings' hadn't come out," she recalls to the
magazine, which granted her the coveted cover spot. "First love: You feel like
it's the be-all and end-all ... I regret that it was too intense for both of
us." As for her current boyfriend, model James Rousseau, the angular actress
says when they first met, she "looked like a mess" and he mistook her for Kate Hudson (ouch), but love blossomed anyway. "He saw the
potential. He wanted to fix me in a little way," she explains. "And to be quite
honest, he did. He was such a ray of light in my life."
It's understandably daunting for a smitten suitor to approach a beautiful
woman, especially one famous for rolling around in a champagne glass wearing
little more than red lipstick, but Jeremy Piven is being urged to grow a spine when
it comes to wooing Dita Von Teese. The New York Post says the "Entourage" star
-- and recent Golden Globe winner -- is so besotted with the burlesque queen
that he recently picked out two black satin, sequin-dotted minidresses for her.
"He said he likes her, but it's not official yet," a staffer who helped him
select the frocks tells the paper. While Piven's rep denies he's seeing Dita, an
attorney for the former Mrs. Marilyn Manson says he recently took in her stage show and
offered a sheepish hello when he bumped into her at a Los Angeles newsstand.
"She is single," the lawyer informs the Post, "and she's not dating, so he
should step up to the plate because there's a lot of guys interested." We
suggest the actor shore up his courage by quietly repeating, "She married
Marilyn Manson -- I totally have a shot."
