Somewhere, Disney execs are nervously wringing their hands over Miley Cyrus becoming fair game for the tabloids. The
New York Post reports the squeaky-clean "Hannah Montana" star, 15, has
parted ways with fellow tween popster Nick Jonas, also 15, of the Tiger
Beat-targeted Jonas Brothers, with whom she's been touring. "They just
broke up, but not many people even knew they were going out," a spy tells the
paper. As for those candid pics making the rounds of Miley goofing around by
sucking on the same piece of candy as one of her gal-pals, the good girl starlet
says there's no scandal afoot. "They're nothing bad!" she insisted to New York
radio station Z100 on Friday. Nevertheless, she fumed, "I'm really upset about
it, 'cause it was, like, not even a big deal ... It's two girls at a sleepover,
and if all of a sudden that's bad, then what is the world coming to?" Cyrus then
answers that question by suggesting a certain pitchfork-carrying, cloven-hoofed
character may have had a hand in the controversy. "What I decided before I came
out to L.A. and started working was: The minute I didn't have fun was the minute
I go home," she explained. "I don't want to go home, and I don't want to not do
what I do, because I love it, but this ... it's Satan attacking."
Katherine Heigl is following celebrity newlywed
tradition. No, she's not filing for divorce. Instead, she's divulging details
and pictures of her Dec. 23 vow-swap with musician Josh Kelley in an exclusive cover story with deep-pocketed
OK! magazine. "We wanted to do it in a place that felt like a winter
wonderland," gushes the actress about her Christmas-y nuptials in Park City,
Utah. "We incorporated lots of big evergreens in the reception with twinkle
lights and Christmas decorations." (Yes, we, too, were on pins and needles
wondering just how St. Nick figured into things.) The sunset ceremony was
witnessed by several of Heigl's current and former "Grey's Anatomy" cast mates,
including Justin Chambers, Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh, with BFF T.R. Knight serving as part of the wedding party.
Katherine also reveals to the mag that the most moving moment came during a
musical tribute to her late brother and Kelley's late sister. While the wedding
went off without a hitch, the honeymoon had a few hiccups. People reports Mr.
and Mrs. Kelley had to make a quick detour to California before heading to the
sunny beaches of Mexico because the bride forgot her passport.
 Pamela
Anderson celebrates the end of another year, while several of her body
parts hope they won't be replaced with sleeker '08 models.

Pam Anderson kicked off 2008 without touch-and-go
hubby Rick Salomon -- and with a resigned attitude about
her drama-filled life. "Oh, there's plenty [of problems]," the erstwhile
bombshell philosophized to People as she made her way into Las Vegas hot spot
LAX on New Year's Eve. "What can you do? We're all human. We're all trying." As
for the future, Pam laid out her resolutions in a posting on her Web site. "2007
was an interesting year for me. What's the definition of insanity?" she wrote.
"This is the year I do everything I wanted to do -- my way. I have so many great
projects -- for the environment -- for animals. I'm going to be proud of every
single day and make sure I do not veer from the path. Stay focused."
Paul McCartney's broken heart has been mended, at least
medically speaking. The London Daily Mirror reports the pop icon, whose
rancorous divorce from Heather Mills drags on, quietly went under the knife
last fall for an artery-clearing coronary angioplasty. "Paul felt there was
something not quite right and luckily sought professional help," an insider
tells the paper. "It's not something that can be left to chance. Thankfully the
operation went well and Paul feels great." His spokesman downplays the surgery
as "routine." McCartney, who appeared to be in the pink during his recent
tête-à-têtes with Rosanna Arquette, is due to face off with Mills in
court next month.
