Tales of Tarnished Tiaras

The 2008 Miss USA pageant had us thinking about that old adage: "Pretty is as pretty does." Not only does it oversimplify complex human behavior, but it's also been proven wrong, repeatedly, by countless beauty queens. What has prompted so many to tarnish their tiaras by acting less than lovely? Although we may never know, we have some top contenders for the Hot Mess Hall of Shame, and our own titles for them.
