I'm so sad that I won't be seeing Cody's incandescent energy and Julianne's spunky moves on "Dancing" anymore!

They were so good throughout the entire season and Cody really held it together well when he danced with Edyta during Julianne's appendix surgery.

I swear, I will never forget when Cody cried because he was so happy to see Julianne after her health scare. It was so cute and heart-wrenching all at the same time. I see a lot of great things in his future. He's just so darn adorable!

It's down to the final contestants and I know someone had to go. At least Cody held on long enough for Julianne to recover for her spectacular comeback!

As for the rest of last night's show, don't you just love those ballroom kids! They are all so cute. I was floored by their talent -- and at such a young age! I do believe I see "DWTS" in their future for sure!

Performances by John Legend, Leona Lewis (who I both know and love) and the GREAT Aretha Franklin were absolutely amazing!

Can you believe the finale is next week!? I wonder who is going to win!? Lance has been so consistent and professional, Brooke surprised us all with her natural elegance and high scores, and Warren has been charming and a joy to watch throughout.

Before this week I thought Brooke had it in the bag, but now the competition seems so much more close! But I still think she is going to take the mirrored disco ball home. (Sorry Lance and Warren!)

Go Brooke!

Kim

Last night's "Dancing With the Stars" reminded me of the Olympic racing strategy where a runner hangs out in second position the entire time just to pull through in the end to win it all. I'm starting to wonder if this has been Lance and Lacey's strategy all along!

Brooke and Derek faltered last night during their jive and got knocked in their score, which paved the way for Sir Dance-A-Lot to take the lead. Team Lance's jitterbug was absolutely fantastic and full of energy! I must say, this competition just got a lot more exciting!

The judges let their claws come out, too. Even the infamously nice Carrie Ann admonished Team Brooke for their dance lift -- a big no-no in the competition. And poor Brooke looked like she was about to get teary.

I was so elated to see Cody back with Julianne, who has fully recovered from her appendix surgery! Welcome back, Julianne! I thought their military-themed outfits during the paso doble were really cool.

Both Team Warren and Team Cody got really harsh comments from the judges last night. I suppose it makes sense since the end of the competition is near -- they have to get tougher and tougher throughout the season to make room for the winning team. But, I have to admit, my heart went out to both of them, and Brooke for that matter, because I know how hard it is to stand before the judges!

And just when you thought the long list of ailments experienced by this season's cast was over, I just heard that Cloris is recovering from pneumonia. She is, however, planning to tape something for the show next week. Cloris, get well soon!!! I can't wait to see you come back on "Dancing" to spice things up for the end of the season!

XOXO,
Kim
