As Season 2 begins, Serena and Nate are wrapping up their summer in the
Hamptons with everyone convinced they are actually a couple, the perfect
cover-up for the married older woman Nate's been dating (Madchen Amick). Meanwhile Dan spent his summer
interning for a famous author, played by actual writer Jay McInerney, who just so happened to stake his
