On "Hell's Kitchen," he has
taken dozens of confused cooks and set them straight with some well-chosen
four-letter words. On "Kitchen Nightmares," he
has rescued countless restaurants from certain doom, moving them out of the
frying pan and into the Zagat.
So, with ratings down and viewers flocking to cable, why don't the broadcast
TV network bosses ask Gordon Ramsay for some help? With "Nightmares"
enjoying a second-season run on FOX, it seems only fair that the foul-mouthed
foodie should be willing to help the ratings of the others guys as well.
With that in mind, we've assembled the following list of the new season's
failing freshmen and low-rated returning champions, and imagined what it would
be like if Gordon gave them some tough love. Each of the quotes are real words
of encouragement (or discouragement) used by the famously frank Chef Ramsay on
