Thanks to the fourteen-week writers strike, there aren't a lot of new
series to look forward to this fall. Despite the limited offerings, the new "90210" has managed to generate a ton of buzz, which
only increased when the network announced it wouldn't be sending out review
copies to TV critics. Expectations are equally high for "Fringe," a new sci-fi thriller from J.J. Abrams.
You'll find some familiar faces returning to television in new shows this
season, along with a couple of movie actors who will try their hand at series
TV, among them Dennis Hopper, who headlines "Crash," the first scripted
offering from Starz, an adaptation of the Oscar-winning 2005 film. You'll also
see shows starring Jerry O'Connell, Selma Blair, Jay Mohr, Molly Shannon and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Plus, a new HBO vampire series from Alan Ball, creator of "Six Feet
Under" starring Anna Paquin. Read on for all the info.
