WKRP holds a contest in which deejays Dr. Johnny Fever (Howard Hesseman) and Venus Flytrap (Tim Reid) are offered as "prizes." Meanwhile, Andy is reunited with his former girlfriend Linda Taylor (Barrie Youngfellow), a touring rock star who entreats him into leaving radio and joining her on the road.
