Hello, and welcome to live show night No. 3!! What do we find out tonight? Who fought these past couple of days? Who will be evicted? Who is "America's Player"? And will he or she accept the offer?
So, we all know that Jessie and Angie are up for eviction -- which means that for the first third of the episode we get to watch their strategies for staying. Angie tries to let Jessie bury himself, which he does. He p---es everyone off this week. Everyone sees Jessie as the bigger threat. I think April puts it best when she says, "America must be thinking: Why are they not evicting Jessie? Are they stupid?" Yes, April, that's what we are thinking. There is then a fight between Jerry and Michelle; it doesn't make much sense. There is obviously some missing footage. I guess the live-feeders know what happened. Both Jerry and Michelle seem really p---ed off, and Jerry looks like he is going to blow a gasket.

Julie then talks to the houseguests for quite some time. Mainly, she talks about the fights and asks Memphis if he has made up with Jerry for calling him a womanizer. Jerry says he apologizes for calling Memphis a womanizer, but is not sorry for yelling at Michelle.
Angie gives a good speech on why the houseguests should keep her. She asks, "Am I your biggest roadblock to winning half a million dollars?" Jessie rambles on about how he is going to stand up for himself. I don't really understand the words that are coming out of his mouth; I don't think we are supposed to. Anyways, Angie is evicted by an 8-0 vote, and she is warmly welcomed by Julie and the live audience.

The houseguests go out for the HOH competition. And guess what? It's an endurance competition, which I actually wasn't expecting ... mainly because everyone was dressed up all nice. I think the only person who looks ready for an endurance competition is Michelle. So she must have sent a mixed message to Angie; I would say Michelle is definitely in for the win on this HOH competition. When I interviewed the houseguests before the show, basically all of them except for Dan, Libra and Ollie said that they would win an endurance HOH contest, no problem. So we will see. The HOH competition is titled "Livin' on the Edge." It's a very elaborate setup. The set looks like the side of a building and has a ledge for the houseguests to stand on and a long pole for them to hold on to. Julie says that when there are earthquakes, there are always aftershocks. And then, the building shakes. Oh, great. Now April and clan are still going to think that the real earthquake was fake.
Well, after this episode we have some big questions: Who will win HOH? Who does America want to get nominated for eviction? Does anyone think that Dan has power over anyone in the house? Eric had a lot of influence on a lot of people, which is how the "America's Player" concept worked so well for him. I don't think Dan has the same influence in the house, but I guess we will all see. :-)
