Dan ponders whether to use the POV on "Big Brother 10"
'Big Brother 10' - Jen's Take: Episode 17
Dan wins POV, leaves April and Jerry hanging

Tonight's episode starts with everyone's reactions to Renny's nominations. Ollie is happy, Jerry seems fine, and April is sad. Dan, Keesha and Memphis are suspicious.

There is then a sequence with Jerry talking to himself; it is kind of sad. No one will talk to the man, and, therefore, he has to resort to talking to himself. Poor guy. They then pick POV players. It ends up being Dan, Keesha and Ollie. April and Ollie are all excited that Ollie is picked, while Keesha, Dan and Memphis are p---ed. They all start talking crap about Renny's nominations.

Next up is the Power of Veto competition, and this is a "spooky" one. For starters, Michelle's hair is red, and the entire backyard is covered with bones, spider webs and all sorts of creepy things. The houseguests are then given some time to check out the backyard. Once they are done evaluating the backyard items, Michelle reads the rules. It is kind of a confusing game; the houseguests have to write on a board how much they think a certain thing contains. The trick part of this competition is that, depending on how confident you are in your answer, you can either "fold" or "stay." If you fold, you move onto the next round, but you are out of the running for a point. The reason you want points is because the first person to three points wins the POV. What items do the houseguests have to estimate? How many inches a snake is; how many cockroaches are in a tank (that they had to put their hand into in order to feel how many there were in there); how many ounces of blood; how many pins are in a voodoo doll; how many nails are in a board. It starts out with Jerry in the lead, but ends with Dan being the winner. Oh, and P.S.: I find it kind of annoying how, when Dan loses the competitions, he claims to "throw them" and, when he wins one, he gives a reason why he needs to win. I know it looks like Dan says that all "before" the competition, but that is not true; he says that "after" the competition when he already knows if he has won or lost.

Renny gives Dan a haircut, and it seems to be a huge production. Not only is there an audience, but there is also Dan praying to God for a good haircut.

Memphis and Dan have a conversation about maybe taking Jerry off the block, really just so that they can make it April vs. Ollie. Dan and Jerry of course have a bad past, so Dan talks to Jerry about where he stands. They seem to be getting along, but who knows what Dan will do? April then throws Dan her deal: She won't put him up, Ollie won't put him up, and she'll give him some money. Dan then decides he needs to talk to Renny, basically to see who she would put up if she took one of her nominations down. Renny is very Renny and basically tells him he's going to keep the nominations the same.

Well, the time has come for the Power of Veto meeting, during which Dan decides not to use the veto.
