'True Blood's' Deborah Ann Woll Cast as Romantic Interest on Netflix's 'Daredevil'

Marvel and Netflix has found their hero's great love in "True Blood" actress Deborah Ann Woll.

Individuals with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap that Woll will play Karen Page, Matt Murdock aka Daredevil's (Charlie Cox) great love of the comic series. She also goes on to betray Matt deeply.

Represented by CAA, Woll has starred on HBO's "True Blood" as Jessica Hamby since its first season in 2008. Her many TV credits also include "My Name Is Earl," "ER" and "CSI." She is set to appear on ABC's upcoming drama, "Forever."

She joins already announced castmembers Elden Henson, Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Marvel Television and ABC Television Studios have partnered on "Daredevil," which is based on the iconic comic book series. Production will start soon in New York. The series will begin streaming on Netflix next year.
