Former "Jersey Shore" cast member Vinny Guadagnino has taken to Twitter to campaign for Prince Harry to appear on his talk show, "The Show With Vinny." While his days in the Seaside Heights, N.J., beach house are over, Guadagnino quickly scored another series on MTV: a talk show that brings celebrities into his Staten Island, N.Y., home to meet his eccentric family.
From Lil Wayne to Mark Wahlberg, and Ke$ha to Scott Disick, a wide range of stars have made appearances on his talk show, and now Guadagnino is aiming for royalty. On Wednesday, the 25-year-old took to Twitter to start a grassroots campaign urging Prince Harry to join him in his Staten Island pad.
In a video pleading to his fans, he explains, "We've had a lot of amazing celebrity guests come over to Staten Island to hang out with my family. I keep thinking of who I really, really want next to come on my show, and I know it's a long shot, but I'm thinking the next person I want to come over is my boy Prince Harry."
"Harry, I'm into the Brits," he says. "I've been to London myself. I've seen your house, the castle thing, whatever, it's nice. But the one thing that's wrong with England is the food ... You need to come to Staten Island and have a real home-cooked Sicilian meal, and you will never go back. I also know you like to party a little bit too, and I'm the ambassador of partying for all of the tri-state area ... We'll talk about royal things. We'll talk about worldly issues, because I'm a political science major and we can talk about politics ... It's impossible to resist."
