Olivia Wilde laughs off Bieber fan feud by reading tweets on TV

Actress Olivia Wilde laughed off her Justin Bieber tweet drama during a late-night TV appearance on Tuesday by reading out some of the rude feedback from the pop star's fans.

The "Cowboys & Aliens" star poked fun at the teenager when she saw a photograph of him out and about shirtless in chilly London, and advised the singer to put a shirt on, but Bieber nation was far from happy with her advice.

During an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" on Tuesday, the fun-loving star brushed off the drama and read out a few choice tweets.

"I got a lot of interesting feedback from his fans. ... At first I thought they were being mean, but then I realized that it's just helpful advice," Wilde said sarcastically. "It was friendly advice like I gave to him. So I'll read them to you. It was super helpful. This is what's great about Twitter. One of them was: 'Are you a lesbian or are you too old?' ... It's a question I had never asked myself before. And I was wondering, 'Am I too old to be a lesbian, because I did just have a birthday, so I may have missed my window.'" Another tweet read "B----, you're not his mother!"

Wilde added, "There's about 17,000 others, but they have too many expletives to say on your show."
