Pop star Ke$ha is releasing a MTV documentary series about the "whirlwind journey" she has experienced in the last two years.
"Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" will give fans a peek inside her life as she tours the world and records her latest album.
"You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that's only a part of the story," the singer said in a statement. "With this documentary series, I'm revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It's not all glamorous, but it's all real. I want you to come on a whirlwind journey with an all-access pass to 'My Crazy Beautiful Life.' "
The fly-on-the-wall series, set to debut in April, was shot by her filmmaker brother, Lagan Sebert, who admits it was a wild roller-coaster ride following his sister's rise to the top.
"I was working as a journalist as my sister was fighting her way to the top of the charts. Journalists live and die by the story, and I soon realized that the most amazing story was happening in my own family, and it became my mission to document it," Sebert said. "I set off on a two-year-long journey to tell my sister's story."
