R&B singer Ne-Yo has confirmed he is in talks to become a judge on "The X Factor."
Ne-Yo will be embarking on his sold-out U.K. arena tour in March, but before he heads out on the road, Ne-Yo is making sure he has another project lined up when he comes back to the States.
The singer/songwriter reveals to entertainment site That Grape Juice that the rumors he is in talks to join the FOX singing competition are, in fact, true.
"There have been a few conversations, but nothing is set in stone," he said. "There's been a few lunches and dinners but that's all I can say right now."
Producers of the show have had to deal with constant changes in the lineup for the past two years, including the departure of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger in Season 1, and most recently, Britney Spears' announcement she would be leaving the show after the second season.
