Kris Jenner: 'Kourtney and Scott's relationship is always rumor of the week'

Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner has dismissed reports suggesting
her eldest daughter Kourtney is engaged to marry her longterm boyfriend Scott
Disick, insisting it's "the rumor of the week". Kourtney Kardashian and Disick
welcomed their her second child, a daughter named Penelope, in July (12), and
ever since the reality TV couple have been dogged by wedding rumours. Her sister
Kim laughed off the latest claims earlier this week (begs19Nov12), and now mom
Jenner hopes to put to an end to the speculation once and for all by debunking
the wedding talk on national TV. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno on Thanksgiving eve (21Nov12), she said, "Kourtney and Scott are very,
very happy, but they're not engaged, no. One week they're not together, you'll
read they're fighting terribly, Scott doesn't know who his kids are... it's the
rumor of the week." But that doesn't mean Jenner isn't pushing for Disick to
become an official member of the Kardashian clan - and she admits Kourtney's
opposition to marriage is frustrating. She added, "He's amazing. When we first
met him he was (in his) early 20s and, you know, growing up, and I think that
having kids has really brought them together and they're amazing. He's a great
dad, a great boyfriend, a great partner for Kourtney and she is really not
interested in getting married, and it drives me crazy!" However, Jenner
confesses there's another couple in the family she's hoping will one day get
married - Kim and her rapper beau Kanye West. Jenner said of the hip-hop star:
"He's a really great guy, he's great with Kim... I think they're good together."
West is already proving to be a regular at family events and he joined the
reality TV regulars for their traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday
(22Nov12).
