Actor Jack Scalia has been released on bail following his arrest at a Los Angeles airport on Thursday.
The former "Dallas" star, 61, was stopped after an unloaded Glock pistol was found in his luggage and he was taken into police custody on suspicion of carrying a firearm. He was held until the early hours of Friday morning when he was released on a $10,000 bail bond.
Scalia's representative, Steve Jaffe, has told TMZ.com the incident was simply an innocent mistake, as the gun was a gift from a friend and the actor didn't realize it was in his bag. No charges have yet been filed.
